Biography:

Dobby is a house-elf in the Harry Potter universe, first appearing in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Movie). He serves the Malfoy family, who treat him cruelly.

Despite his mistreatment, Dobby possesses a strong moral compass and a desire to protect Harry Potter. He attempts to warn Harry of the dangers lurking at Hogwarts, even at his own expense.

Dobby is eventually freed from the Malfoys' service thanks to Harry's trickery. Afterward, he seeks employment, though he initially struggles to find someone willing to pay him for his work. He later works at Hogwarts.
